This year was one of my best to date, the results probably weren’t as good as the previous year. But I feel I learn’t a lot more from this past season than I have in my whole career.

Looking back on some of these shots gets me so amped up to go shredding again.

So I have just touched down on Australian soil again for a break back home.

Since my last update at the European Open I have been in Hintertux Austria for a week doing some riding with Chumpy and ben wordsworth before heading over to france for European X Games. We were lucky enough to actually score some powder in march so we were super pumped. The video Below is some of the footage we captured over the 2 days of riding at Hintertux. I hope it makes you want to go snowboarding cause every time I watch it thats all I can think of Anyways….

After Hintertux we headed over to france for European X Games. X Games didn’t go as well as i was hoping it was, it had its good and bad.

I was feeling really good going into it, I had a week off riding powder I was feeling refreshed and ready to get after it. I had a good run in Qualifiers and ended up qualifying 5th through to finals. But thats when It turned bad. Finals night just didn’t work out for me, I couldn’t seem to put a run down on my feet so it was pretty disappointing considering it was the last event for the season and it would of been nice to finish on a high and to come away with a result but thats just the way competion goes sometimes I guess….

But all in all I had a great season and I feel my snowboarding is progressing each day. Im really looking forward to spring camp coming up in a couple months to work on some new tricks and perfect some old one’s and also looking forward to the southern hemisphere season ahead and qualifying year for the olympics.

Finals day was unreal scored epic weather the pipe was a really good shape, only problem it turned to butter after half a dozen runs from the sun sitting on it all day. But that didn’t stop everyone throwing down. There was some epic snowboarding going on considering and it was fun getting amongst the mix.

I ended up finishing 7th overall not quite as good of a result as i was hoping for. I did get my 3rd run but didn’t put the fs10 double in cause i fell on my 2nd run, still happy considering the tuff conditions that was presented to us on the day.

Sorry I have been a little slow on the updates. But these past couple weeks have been super busy coming from Norway back over to North America and now back over to europe again to finish of the season.

Only just finished up with the World cup in Stoneham a few days ago and things went really well for me. I came out with a win and ended up finishing 2nd overall in the 2011/2012 FIS tour. So Really happy with my riding at the moment, I feel I’m getting some consistency in my snowboarding and feeling strong and ready to hit the last part of the northern hemi winter hard.

I’m now back over in Laax, Switzerland for the Burton European Open. So I’m hoping to keep the momentum going and come out of here with a result.

So I have finished up with the Snowboard World champs in Norway a few days ago.

Sorry I haven’t updated earlier but I literally had to jump on a plane the next morning after the event to be back over to North America to get to the Stoneham, Canada World Cup.

But I ended up finishing 5th overall at world champs so I was super happy with how it all played out. It was a absolute marathon of a event, I had to compete 4 times over about 6 days. But really really happy, the level of riding was unreal and I was pumped to be there and getting amongst it with the worlds best.

Congratulations to I-Pod, Matt ladly and Louie Vito on the podium finishes.

So I have just finished up with qualifications and Semifinals.

That semi finals heat 2 was the toughest heat all season, the level of riding from everyone was incredible.

I was Pumped to get that first run down in Semi’s, didn’t improve on it which was a bummer. I wanted to step it up with a back 10 down the bottom. But stoked to be through to Finals on saturday night.  And can’t wait to get after it.

Getting some sun and surfing in hawaii has recharged the batteries and I’m ready to get after it at this event. I had Pre-quals yesterday and ended up qualifying 1st in my heat so I’m through to the next round.

So I just got back from being over in hawaii. I was over there having a little break and doing some surfing in between competitions.

I put together a short clip from the trip. I didn’t end up filming as much as i was hoping to cause I was busy surfing. But I was lucky enough to be there when the Volcom Pipe Pro was running. So I filmed a few waves from some of the heats for you to check out.

Whilst i was at X Games I got chatting to the good lads at Contour and ended up doing a little bit of filming for them for the Contour Youtube channel. Here is the Footage and edit they put together from the day of riding at X.

The Contour+ was a great camera to use, the quality was unreal as you will see. Really easy to record, just a slide of the button & you’re recording hassle free. I’d highly recommend one for any buyers looking for a great action sports camera.

I got abit sick at the beginning of the trip and didn’t really come good until the end of our stay, and I was also having abit of trouble adapting to how verty the pipe was. But it was a great experience for me and hopefully next year ill be in the main show. Anyways here are a few mellow runs i took with my new contour+ . Hope you enjoy it, cause i sure as hell did.
